I understood the overtures being made by the Obama administration to be targeted towards a less hostile relationship with Iran - completely counter to the more or less open threats made by Israel recently. This &quot;unchlenching of fists&quot; talk can&#039;t be a welcome development for the election campaign in Isreal, though.</description>

Netanyahu may press for an attack on Iran, but there is no evidence that I have seen that Obama will be any more receptive than Bush Admin was to Israel request last year.
