		<description>Petraeus is one very sharp general. I don&#039;t put it past him to manage the Afghan conflict to an acceptable outcome if given sufficient resources.   He is not just another one of Rumsfeld&#039;s yes-men.  It&#039;s a pity that he or someone like him wasn&#039;t given command of the Afghan conflict 8 years earlier.</description>
