Labor unrest in Ahvaz continues. Peyke Iran reports that people joined workers of pipe manufacturing plant who were protesting having not paid wages for 10 months. They chanted “death or justice”, something I had not heard before. Other chants were variations of those we had heard before. I also saw a sign for 13th of Abaan (Novemeber 4). The silence from Rafs is surprising, he’s been under attack, I was expecting him to make a few moves, but he has kept his mouth shut. As for the warnings, the guards have issued strong non-verbal warnings, the arrests from last week is a strong warning, but I suspect it to be counterproductiv as people are getting more upset. Seems to me that SL and Guards are running out of options, everyting they’ve tried so far has failed. Trials, toruture, murder. Sooner or later they will attach each other in an attempt to survive.

That is what I have been asking!! Where is Rafs?! Also the SL has been very quite, I thought he would have been warning about 13 Aban about now or commenting on the National Unity Plan (we haven’t heard anything about that since it was sent to the SL). Apart from Nuclear issue and more propaganda attacks on reformists there has not been much news coming out of the government.
