Iran: The Regime Censors the 1979 Revolution

Any documentaries and specials commemorating the 1979 Islamic Revolution must remove:
- All photos and videos of the those killed in the protests before the Revolution
- Photographs and videos of pre-Revolution demonstrators attacking or setting fire to public places
- Photographs and videos of demonstrators writing on walls, throwing Molotov cocktails, or fleeing from police

The first three pictures look quit similar to pictures from the protests last 6-7 months and I’m sure something similar to the forth picture will follow soon.
When I was in Iran, I noticed that they also only showed images of veiled women in the streets from the days leading up to the Shah’s fall. The crowds were always sex-segregated and they almost never showed any secular images.
