LiveStream has been showing arrests during Occupy Portland in Oregon. An estimated 200 people have been arrested today in New York City --- one protester offers his/her comment on the news: A scene from earlier today as police tried to push protesters off the street: Despite reports of some intersections being close to impassable, the opening bell has rung at the New York Stock Exchange: Journalist Lucy Kafanov tweets, "I just got clubbed. Reports are coming in of arrests --- Al Jazeera's Cath Turner writes, "At least a dozen #ows protesters handcuffed and lined up against a wall. Police forming a line and pushing us back. Police have given their first warning: "Be advised: you do not have a parade permit. People in street subject to arrest."Josh Harkinson of Mother Jones, who provided front-line reporting on the struggle for Liberty Square on Tuesday, is back: "Occupiers had the street here and cops shoved them out. It was like a football game, but the cops ultimately had more brawn."
