James Miller is the U.S. based editor and journalist for EAWorldview.com, where he provides daily live coverage and analysis of news from the Middle East, with a focus on Syria. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and English from The Catholic University of America. Before becoming a journalist, James was an English teacher, and he worked as an engineer for some of the largest sound reinforcement companies on the East Coast.
He is the creator of Dissected News, where he covered the uprisings of Iran before joining EA Worldview. He has also written for the Huffington Post and Iran News Now. His article, "The Green Movement in Iran Is Alive, and Important," was published in a book, Current Controversies: The Iranian Green Movement, and an article describing his methodology was recently featured in the Columbia Journalism Review, Straight news from the Citizens of Syria: How reporters sort, organize—and verify—a flood of information from a chaotic civil war.
