That, at least, is what she had been told. But when she went to the U.S. military detention center at Camp Bucca, they had no record of her brother.

That's one of the ironies that followed the 2003 invasion -- extreme theocratic elements coming to the surface in what was perhaps the most secular republic in the region.
Camp Bucca is named after Ron Bucca. He and his family lived next-door to me in the late 70s and early 80s. I was friends with his daughter, Jessica. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Paul_Bucca
