The above picture looks like it's been Photoshoped. (e.g. the way the people are crowding together at the top of the image suggests that they are in an enclosed area like a narrow street or an alley, plus the down-hill arc of the hill suggests that the people should be falling towards the viewer not towards the viewer's right).

The other image on the beach looks like it could be a Photoshop special too.

JP, this actually is the real trouble with all these software possibilities there are nowadays - either you get hooked on fakes or you get over-distrusting. It actually appears to be the choice between pest and cholera, doesn't it?

As for me, I do trust on EA reasonably giving the photographers some credit.

It's still possible to enjoy the images as artistic compositions (e.g. the photographer as editor may have taken liberties to articulate some version of truth by juxtaposing images within a composed frame, or to have added elements for dramatic effect -- this is very easy to do with the aid of pretty basic Photoshop skills).

Reuters in particular has had problems with this issue in the very recent past. It would be interesting to see the full sequence of photos preceding and following the one selected by the photographer and the wire service.
