Latest Iran Video: Protest at Khaje Nasir University (22 November)

Students of the technical faculty of Khaje Nasir University in Tehran protesting against the arrest of two student activists of this university without any clear charges:

Watching these many filmed demonstrations/protests being held mainly at Universities, I am wondering their meaning.
Certainly it seems they are not going away. And watching the participants, they do not seem to have any fear - they are not furtively looking around as though something/ someone nasty is going to descend upon them. However , I also see that not all in the vicinity are participating - those not participating are not in any way antagonistic to the demonstration - just simply standing around and not participating. Some of these do seem to be looking around - as though they are watching out for something.
So - how significant are these recordings we are seeing. ( Samuel - you don't need to answer this one. I already know what your reply would be)

My understanding is that there are laws in Iran that prevent law enforcement from entering campuses. That's why protesting is relatively safe there. Although on several occasions in the last ten years basij/ansar-e-hesbollah/etc. have stormed dormitories at night to beat up and kill students.
As for the students that are just standing around, keep in mind that if something neat is happening on campus, students are going to want to check it out even if they're not fully involved. Also, they may just be giving their throats a break before they start chanting again.

You still dont understand the law in Iran for this regime. The law is their words and their deeds. There is no due process of law in Iran. They just can arrest and search anybody without any warrants. They can jail anybody without any charges, they can accuse anybody on fabricated accusations. They can beat and kill anybody without fear of justice. What else that they can't do? They are a bunch of venomous snakes that will bite you if they feel they are threatened no matter who you are.

I call those who are standing around uninvolved in these videos and those who are filming from their windows and roof tops during major street protest GOOD GERMAN. I am sure you get my meaning. As long as we have too many GOOD GERMANs no significant change will come about in IRAN.
