We're doing vital research today on the phenomenon of American football so updates will be limited. Do keep news, comments, and ideas coming in, and we'll check in as we begin to understand what a "tight end" is and assess the cultural significance of cheerleaders.

SKOL VIKINGS! ;-)
I am anxiously looking forward to the results of your vital research, though I fear the limited space available on your website could hardly contain the eventual and, I am sure, erudite outcome. That outcome would help clarify, for me, exactly what you mean by "enduring America." The question is certainly germane to non-American residents of North America, as "enduring NFL football" could be seen as a subset of what I interpret your blog-line to mean. But that would raise, in turn, the larger question of meaning.
Fred,
Have returned with vital findings. All will be revealed on Monday.

Mutant men dressed in huge padding no thanks. I'd rather watch true athleticism like Thierry Henry.

Though Am.Football is interesting, nothing can replace NHL hockey when it comes to american sports!

I agree Jashar, though I suspect Canuckistan would have something to say about hockey being called an American sport...
Sorry Mike...of course its not. In germany we have the bad habit to call sports like Am.Football, hockey, baseball, basketball which are not THAT popular here American sport. *blush*
Sorry for that! :-)
So which team do you support? ;-)
Jashar, no offence taken- we do the exact same thing here in Britain. Plus you have to call it 'ice hockey' or most people will think you're talking about field hockey, which is possibly more well known here.
As for teams, my home town actually just got a new hockey team, so I guess that makes me a http://www.bristolpitbulls.com/" rel="nofollow">Bristol Pitbulls fan :)
Yeah in Germany its called "Eishockey". I must admit that I donT know anything about british hockey. Good luck with your team! And nice Logo btw. :-)
My favorite local team is the COLOGNE SHARKS (Kölner Haie)!

I thought you had ice hockey rinks. Maybe the one in this video isn't in the UK.
